New York City Toughness.

Anybody else sick of hearing about "New York City toughness"??? How many times have they talked about that this game? "He's tough. He's physical. He's tough and physical." Shut it.  It's serious bullshit. I hate Jay Bilas. 

Because I'm from the midwest, I can't be tough or physical. Instead, I would have "fundamentals." But because they're from NYC- in Jay Bilas' mind- they have that "New York City toughness."

    Being from the midwest, you can also "play smart" and have a great "basketball mind."

    But toughness? Forget about it.

    No, someone can be tough from the midwest, just not on the basketball court. Shorty, you will want to change your sheets when you come home.
