Close call, and excellent guard play

Solid couple of games there--hopefully the tourney is heating up. Kansas is one of my teams and I'm glad they won, but Ben Woodside of N.Dakota State put on one of the better guard performances of the tourney so far. Once again the underdog pushes the higher seed, only to run out of steam and go cold down the stretch.

The comeback has several stages, as best described by the Sports Guy -- check out his explanation here (scroll down to the 10:00 entry)

We'll talk later about the benefits of the extra pass. For now, here's a picture of Sam Young.

  1. Reports from Heater in Chicago-
"We gave N. Dakota St a standing ovation at the end of the game."

    - It should be noted that Heater and seth are sitting outside in a beer garden, in Chicago, watching the games. By themselves. So, two person standing O.

  2. Ha ha. Nicely done Heater and Seth. I'm very much looking forward to tonight when I can watch games somewhere other than in my office on a computer screen.
