Snacks

No NCAA tournament would be complete without snacks. And since we've done this before, we planned ahead- so that we don't have to leave the house for the next 4 days. Here's a glimpse at what we'll be munching on.

And for those of you concerned about my high cholesterol, there are plenty of veggies and fruit in the fridge. They're not as pretty in pictures though.

  5. I bought you a can of rotel a while back to make homemade chile con queso if you have some velveeta in the fridge! Sorry if I ruined the surprise but I thought it would be an appropriate addition to the snack collection.

You are missing double sided ritz/pretzel crackers.

  6. Damnit Heater! Another good call.

Kate- I almost bought a box of Flipsides, as they're known, but the were 5 bucks a box!

And the homeade chile con queso sounds awesome. As my doctor, do you advise this?

  7. Lucas--we talked about sweets but never pulled the trigger. There's always Sonoco a block away if we need to grab some Twix.

  8. Well, I wouldn't advise that you eat anything on the table!!! BUT this is bringing me so much entertainment so... perhaps it is a last indulgence?

  9. That's exactly how I was viewing the weekend. Might as well eat some fried chicken wrapped in bacon, with a hearty ranch dipping sauce.

  11. Looking into flying out Kay Schrock would have been a decent idea too.

  12. Yeah, what else could she be doing? I'd be willing to bet that she misses having us around during tournament time. In fact, I'd guess that she still wakes up and makes Amish scramble in the morning, with hopes that we'll come running up the stairs for breakfast.

On that note, lets check with Brad and Wes.

  13. While we are talking Kay Schrock and old snacks, what about Swiss Cake rolls? I used to eat those. Nice call on the Easy Cheese and Chickn n' a Biscuit crackers Shorty, a Schrock staple.
